Sa maîtrise technique est évidente dans l’exécution énergétique et robuste de ses paysages et portraits. Résidant à Montréal, cet artiste est surtout attiré vers l'effet de la peinture sur la surface du bois. Since completing his Bachelor of Fine Arts at Mount Allison University (1990), Philip Iverson has been regularly exhibiting his paintings in galleries across Canada. The recipient of numerous awards, Iverson’s raw talent bursts through his energetically charged portraits and landscapes. Based in Montreal, Iverson works predominantly with oil-based pigments and wood surfaces. Reviews of his work have appeared in such publications as The Globe and Mail, Arts Atlantic and New Artist Collective Magazine.
