Chris Carbone completed both a Bachelor of Arts (1982-86) and a Bachelor of Education (1994-95) at the University of Toronto. Since 1984, Carbone’s brightly coloured abstract paintings have appeared in group and solo exhibitions as well as a dozen juried competitions. A dramatic sense of colour and light characterize the work of Chris Carbone. Luminous, imaginary vistas are contrasted by horizontal or vertical bands, enhancing a deep and rich atmosphere.
